The champions of the UEFA Champions League settle for
another win this year. For some people, the Real Madrid is the best team in the
history of football, but there is other team who manage to beat the RM this
year like Fc Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and the Bayern
Munich. In the transfer window of summer 2014, Real Madrid bought 3 players who
had an awesome world cup with their own national team.
They bought James Rodriguez, a Colombian player who
won the golden boot at the world cup in Brazil for a transfer fee of €80 millions from
Monaco. The golden boot is given to the
player who scored the most goal at the end of the tournament. They also bought
Toni Kroos who won the world cup with Germany for a transfer fee of €24 millions
from Bayern Munich. They bought Keylor Navas, a goalkeeper who kept his
national team in the world cup by playing the game of his career. They bought
him for €8 millions from Levante.
With these
transfers, Real Madrid thinks they can beat any other team in the world. The
value of their 11 players on the starting line-up is over €400 millions and in
the history of football it is the most expensive starting line-up that you have
ever seen. Last week, Christiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese star who is also
playing for the Real Madrid won the award of the best player in Europe. The RM
wants to be the best team in the world like every other teams but, Real Madrid
year after year, buy the best player they can to be able to beat everyone.
